Sociology Research

 

Amin El-Yousfi is a PhD candidate at the Department of Sociology and a research scholar at the Woolf Institute. He was awarded the Cambridge Trust scholarship to commence his PhD in 2015/2016. His PhD thesis focuses on local Muslim leadership in France and UK. He is a member of the European Sociological Association (ESA), the British Association of Islamic Studies (BRAIS), and the Cambridge Muslims in Europe Postgraduate Forum (CMEPF).

Sociology and Anthropology of Islam, Muslims in Europe, Immigration, Secularism, Everyday and Ethical self-identification
