Sociology Research

 

Hannah Peterson is a PhD student at the Department of Sociology, supervised by Prof. Patrick Baert. Hannah's research focuses on the relationship between religion, culture, and politics in the contemporary United States. Specifically, her PhD addresses Orthodox Jewish and Latter Day Saint responses to the 2024 presidential election.

Hannah's research is funded by the Cambridge Trust and she is an Honorary PhD Scholar at the Woolf Institute.

Prior to commencing her PhD, Hannah completed an MA in Sociology and Anthropology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BA in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at Bar Ilan University.
