Harry is a PhD student at the Department of Sociology, University of Cambridge. He holds an MPhil in Sociology from the University of Cambridge, an MA in Public Policy from the University of York, and a BA in Geography from the University of Exeter.
His work focuses on labour market public policies, public opinion, and the political and administrative processes associated with the design and delivery of policy interventions in the United Kingdom. His research seeks to understand the conditions that are necessary for particular public policies to be successfully implemented, encompassing voter preferences, processes of policy generation within political parties, and the capability of the Civil Service to successfully deliver outcomes.
Harry is completing his PhD part-time while working as a Principal management consultant at PA Consulting. His work bridges the gap between policy design and implementation, integrating policy analysis and organisational strategy to enable central government departments to define and achieve policy objectives. Harry has also worked as a founding advisor on Nesta's UK 2040: Options programme, and advised UK political parties across a breadth of policy areas, including Policing and welfare.
