Sociology Research

 

Khaled is a PhD candidate in the Sociology Department at the University of Cambridge, and also completed his MPhil at the University of Cambridge. He studies the role of imagination in moments of political upheaval and social change. Khaled has been recognised for his teaching and research, having been awarded the Munro Studentship at Queens' College, Cambridge.

In addition to his research, Khaled is a Teaching Associate for HSPS at Queens' College, Cambridge. He also supervises the MSE7 'The Future of Work' module at the Judge Business School, focusing on new technologies like AI, machine learning, and automation, and their transformative effects on the workplace.

Research Interests

Language, linguistics, social philosophy, social theory, political change, the geopolitics of technology, and technology's impact on social change.
