Sociology Research

 

Regina is a PhD candidate at the Sociology Department, University of Cambridge, where she is supervised by Prof. Jennifer Gabrys and Dr. Tiago Mata.

Her research focuses on the constitution and transformation of academic disciplines in general and the contemporary Economics discipline in particular. Specifically, she investigates the role of the global heterodox economics movement in disrupting and (re)configuring both which and how economic knowledges are produced in the 21st century.

Regina holds an MPhil in Political and Economic Sociology from the University of Cambridge and an MA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.

Research Projects

Since February 2020, Regina has been a co-investigator on the ESRC and Rebuilding Macroeconomics-funded project 'The Impact of the UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) on Academic Macroeconomics', led by Dr. Danielle Guizzo.
