Sociology Research

 

Santiago is a PhD student at the Department of Sociology. He holds a BA in Architecture from Universidad de los Andes and an MSc in Culture and Society from the London School of Economics. He has worked as an architect and journalist, and currently writes an opinion column for the Colombian journal El Tiempo. 

Research Interests

  • Social and political theory; political sociology. 
  • Santiago's doctoral research explores the notion of temporality in the construction of political discourses throughout the Age of Revolution. 

Teaching

Santiago has taught courses on art and sexuality at Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia.
