Sociology Research

 

Seetha Tan is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology funded by the Gates Cambridge Trust. Her research examines the role of storytelling on identity-formation within the context of postcolonial migration to London.

Seetha holds a BA in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from Sciences Po, Paris Campus de Menton and an MPhil in Political and Economic Sociology from the University of Cambridge. Beyond her academic research, Seetha is a filmmaker and is interested in integrating creative methodologies into her research practice.
