Peter Webb was a prinicipal investigator for this AHRC-funded project, which ran from August 2013 to July 2015. Dr Webb's strand of this project, called Riotous Youth, looked at the history of UK riots of the 1980s and compares them to the recent riots in London. It also looked at the representation of riots through popular music its lyrics and aesthetics.
