Sociology Research

 

Yue is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology and a member of Hughes Hall College at the University of Cambridge. Her PhD research examines the lived experiences of Chinese-Black interracial couples in China, with a special focus on the intersection of gender and race.
Yue received her MA in Intercultural Communication and Education from Durham University. Prior to this, she studied English and Arabic at Sun Yat-sen University. She was an exchange student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel (2018-19).
